About Me


My name is Gabriel Kurland. I was born in Paris in 1974 and I am currently living in Geneva, Switzerland.

For more than a decade, I have been working in finance and more precisely in the hedge fund industry. Through my experiences on both the operations and the investment management, I have been able to develop a very broad understanding of the industry. I have a solid background on both the qualitative and the quantitative assessment of hedge funds in a broad range of strategies. My entrepreneur mind-set allows me to think proactively in developing new solutions.

  • Co-manager of the internal fund of hedge funds. The fund of funds was a multi-strategy fund investing in about 20-30 hedge funds with assets of around €100ml

  • Construction of tailored-made hedge fund portfolios for private clients. The department was responsible for around $500ml investments in hedge funds
